A Bridal Shower, black & white attire please!

Since it 'tis the season for showers of all kinds, I thought I'd share photos with you from a beautiful Black & White themed bridal shower I attended two weeks ago for my friend Deanne, whom I've known since high school.

When I received the invitation, it was a lovely black and white scroll on the front with a monogrammed D.

Inside they asked "Black & White attire, please" which I thought was so cute. Doesn't everyone have something to wear that's black or white? I think theme parties make for a really fun event, especially showers! The extra details look great and mean so much.

On another note, Feliz Cinco de Mayo!!

While today is one of my favorite holidays of the year (all the guacamole and strawberry margharitas you can ever want!) we went very low key this year - tacos, quesadillas, guac and chips on the porch. So low key in fact, no pics. Sorry.

Tomorrow we have guests arriving and on Friday we're heading up to New Hampshire for sister-in-law Ashley's college graduation. I'll update you all on Monday!
