Here's what was on the menu:
organic chicken with scallion sauce
organic herb salad with grape tomatoes and almond slices
carolina rice
I'm a vegetarian but I like to cook meals that Dustin will enjoy and that are healthy too. (Plus, its light on the wallet and who isn't looking out for that these days?) I made the sauce with scallions (of course), vegetable broth, minced garlic, a drop of thyme, s&p and wah-lah, instant dinner! It's been so hot out lately, we finally took advantage of a cool dinner out on the porch. Here are a few pics of our evening.
