Happy Father's Day to a dad who......once walked with me a mile out into a pumpkin patch so I could pick out the biggest and best pumpkin there was. Then carried me AND said pumpkin back the one mile to the car (I was four years old and apparently, I was "tiiireed, Daddy!") (Thank Goodness Daddies are given TWO big strong arms.)
...bravely waded through our younger years raising two little girls who were obsessed with barbies, disney princesses and doing hair - all topics in which we schooled him daily. He also kindly dismissed the frequent observation "That's not how mommy does it!!"
...never misses a chance to give us lecture #647 (or any other of his favorites) whenever he had us trapped in the car.
...is always there for us through thick and thin NO MATTER WHAT. That's what dad's are for.
So Dad, if I forgot to tell you lately,
